A luncheon club, which for the past eighteen years has proved a vital lifeline for elderly people in the Stokenham area, is threatened with closure, unless some volunteer organisers can be found. The WRVS Stokenham Lunch Club, which has around 50 members and is held in Stokenham Village Hall, has been organised by Ann Baverstock and Shirley Stewart for 18 years.
